Hi there!
My name is Lisa Ball and I am fortunate enough to live in the beautiful area of Motueka, 45 minutes from sunny Nelson. I am a stay-at-home mum of two beautiful boys, Cameron 4, and Jamie 3 who keep me busy and on my toes constantly!
Photography is my hobby, my passion and is fast becoming my profession! I have always loved photography and have updated my Canon 350D to the latest Canon 550D. The freedom of digital photography is amazing with the ability to instantly view your images and to delete the duds! When I think what I would spend on film development I cringe!
I am the President of Motueka's newly established Camera Club which meets monthly and I have already learnt so much more about the in's and out's of Photography. I have finally got my camera off auto and have discovered new and amazing images!
Obviously with having young children of my own, the majority of my images include children and I really enjoy capturing their expressions in natural light and in their natural environment. I also enjoy landscape, portrait and macro photography and I now specialise in weddings. I love being involved in the couples special day, I take the upmost care in photographing those crucial moments from their day and later presenting them with a slide show and album that allows them to relive those tender moments together. I also pride myself on being affordable.
One day I hope to have my own studio to focus more on portraiture with families and children and to develop my wedding photography further.
But in the mean time I will keep clicking away, improving my images and finding my style, I'll update this site regularly and I appreciate any feedback and comments you may have.
